Homework Reward Parties
Each quarter students will have a chance to earn a reward party. Luckily for students, even when pieces of the reward are missing students still get to participate in the party. Each quarter students will be working towards earning an extra special treat. The treats may include; a pizza party, an ice cream party, a sub sandwich party, and a rootbeer float and popcorn party.
As students turn in their projects they will be given a "piece" of the party. Each piece must be earned in order and when it comes time for the party students will receive all of the pieces they have earned.
For example:
For a pizza party students can earn all of the following pieces, but they must be earned in order:
1. a plate
2. a napkin
3. ONE piece of pizza
4. ONE breadstick
5. another side
6. a cup
7. a drink
So if a student turns in 7 of 7 projects, then they will receive all 7 pieces of the reward party.
If a student only turns in 5 of 7 projects, then they will receive everything except the cup and the drink.
If a student only turns in 3 of 7 projects, then they will receive a plate, a napkin, and ONE piece of pizza. It doesn't matter if students turn in the first project, the fourth project, and the fifth project. Each piece must be earned before the following piece can be earned.
These will be kept track of using posters in our hallway which will be located next to our data wall. Please feel free to come out and take a look...the students are always very proud of their rewards posters!
